Pool Health and Safety Rules and Regulations
Persons having skin lesions, sore or inflamed eyes, mouth, nose or ear discharges, or who are carriers of any communicable disease may not use the pool.

Children who are not toilet trained, whether or not in diapers, are NOT allowed in the main pool.  A fine of $500 will be assessed for any violation of this rule that results in an unsanitary condition in the pool which requires a pool closure.

Children must wear “swim diapers” or rubber pants over disposable/cloth diapers in the kiddie pool.  Soiled diapers are to be placed in the trash barrels.

All persons must shower before entering the pools.

It is recommended that all persons with shoulder length hair or longer wear a bathing cap while swimming to prevent the accumulation of hair floating on the surface and clogging the filters. Caps may be purchased at the main gate for a nominal fee.

The deep area of the pool is off limits to children until they have passed the deep-water test administered by a member of the staff.  At any time guards may ask children to demonstrate their swimming ability.

The central area of the pool may not be used by children who have not passed their deep water test, unless they are supervised by an adult.

Diving is only permitted in designated areas.

The diving board and the slide may not be used simultaneously.  Swimmers must take turns with the equipment and follow the directions of the lifeguards.

Only one slider/diver may be on the equipment at a time.  Swimmers must make certain the area is clear before entering the water.   Swimming is not permitted by the diving and sliding areas. Divers and sliders should go directly to the ladder upon completion of a dive/slide.

Running, pushing, wrestling or ball playing is prohibited around the pools at all times.  Playing on ladders, diving boards and lifeguard stands is not permitted.

No tubes, noodles, inflatable swimming aids, or similar devices are permitted in the main pool.

Use of underwater propelling devices, such as water torpedoes, is strictly prohibited for the safety of all swimmers. With the exception of items provided and regulated by the Club, no toys, balls or pool accessories are permitted in the main pool.  Soft toys are permitted in the kiddie pool.

The kiddie pool is for children six years old and under supervised by their parents or responsible babysitter.  No Lifeguards are on duty at the kiddie pool.

All bathers must be out of the water 15 minutes prior to the announced evening closing hour of the premises.

“Adult Swim” will be called every hour on the half hour.  Except 5:30 pm “Adult Swim,” which ends at 6:00 pm., “Adult Swim” will be for twenty minutes.  During “Adult Swim” the central area of the main pool is closed to all children.

During home swim meets, the main pool is closed for all other swimming.  The meet schedule will be posted on the swim team bulletin board.  During swim team practice, the central area of the main pool is closed to all other Members, including lap swimmers.

The one-meter diving board is for use ONLY during diving team competition, practice instruction and tryouts under the direct supervision of the diving coach.

Tennis Rules
All players’ names must appear on the sign-up board for the court they are using. Guests should be indicated with a “G” following their name. Be sure to note starting time. To avoid any confusion and as a courtesy to those waiting for a court, you must return and erase your name when finished playing. (This is particularly important for those playing on Courts 5, 6, 7 and 8). If you do not properly sign-up on the board, you can be bumped.

If all courts are taken, the “Waiting List System” will be used.  Persons who are taking lessons may not sign up or be placed on the waiting list until they leave the court.  If you are not at the sign-up board when a court becomes available, your name may be removed from the list and the next in line will get the court.
Any Member bringing a tennis guest must sign in and pay for a guest pass as per the Club’s guest policies. At least half of the numbers of players on a court must be Members.

The courts will be ready for play at 8:00AM each day when conditions permit.  No tennis court may be used before 8:00 AM or after dusk, or when otherwise specified by Club management.

Rubber flat bottom tennis sneakers and proper attire must be worn on the courts at all times.  Black-soled sneakers are not permitted on any of the courts.

Court 4 is reserved every weekday and weekend from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM for tennis lessons by Club Professionals. Courts 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 are reserved on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for Junior Tennis Team practice and matches. Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM courts 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be used for junior clinics as per posted schedule in the Tennis Hut. The Har-Tru courts will be maintained between 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM on weekdays and between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on weekends and holidays.

Saturday, Sunday and holiday mornings from 8:00 AM to noon adult Members (16 and over) have court preference over children.  (Bumping is permitted.)

Singles play is limited to 60 minutes, and doubles play to 90 minutes when other players are waiting for a court.

Waiting doubles have preference over waiting singles on the sign-up board everyday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (if single play is in progress or if the hard courts are available, no bumping is allowed.)
Example 1: It is 8:45 Saturday morning, 4 adults show up for a double game. All 8 courts are being used. There is a waiting singles for court 6 starting at 9:00. Doubles could bump them for the 9:00 time slot.
Example 2: Same circumstances. If court 3 (hard courts) is also available at 9:00 the doubles will have to settle for that court, no bumping in this case.

The practice backboard on Court 1 may not be used if players are waiting for a court. Avoid crossing a court when play is in progress. No one is allowed within the court fences except those who are playing tennis. Noise should be kept to a minimum.
